Course Details

Scene Work has been designed as a follow-on from Fun for Beginners, but is open to anyone who has completed an equivalent beginner’s course or who feels they already have a foundation in acting.

Each week you’ll rehearse scenes from well-known plays and films, exploring a range of acting techniques to help you deepen as an actor. The course invites you to continue discovering who you are, both within the work and beyond the rehearsal room, while building confidence and deepening your creative instincts.

– Have fun with different acting techniques
– Learn how to use yourself fully to create character and engage with text
– Continue building confidence and awareness of how you present to the world
– Strengthen your trust in your authentic power, spontaneity and imagination

The drama course is spread over 7 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small in order to give you a lot of individual feedback and encourage a friendly and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and make progress.
